Assignment Description:
We are seeking a skilled Python Engineer with Ops Manager skills to join our team. As a Python Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining ITSM related APIs. In addition, you will collaborate closely with our internal infrastructure-as-code team to consume their services and ensure smooth integration with our solutions. If you have a solid understanding of Python, DevOps principles, and experience with tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Docker, and Kubernetes, we encourage you to apply.
What you’ll do:
· Develop, enhance, and maintain ITSM related APIs using Python.
· Collaborate with the internal infrastructure-as-code team to integrate their services into our solutions effectively.
· Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations, incident handling, and controlled deployment.
· Utilize tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket (Git), Docker, and Kubernetes (K8s) to streamline development and deployment processes.
· Familiarize yourself with additional tools, including Jira, Confluence, Kafka, Splunk, IBM API Connect, Mirantis Secure Registry, BMC Helix, JWT, Test Automation (Cucumber and QTest), and CyberArk.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Python development and DevOps.
Who you are:
· Solid experience in Python development, preferably in an enterprise environment.
· Proficient in using Jenkins and Bitbucket (Git) for continuous integration and version control.
· Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) for containerization and orchestration.
· Knowledge of Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
· Understanding of Kafka, Splunk, IBM API Connect, Mirantis Secure Registry, BMC Helix, JWT, Test Automation (Cucumber and QTest), and CyberArk, or the willingness to quickly learn and adapt to these tools.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
· Prior experience in operations, incident handling, and controlled deployment using strict change control processes is a bonus.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
· A proactive attitude and a desire to continuously improve processes and technologies.

Salary: 30,000.00kr - 60,000.00kr per month
