What to Expect

Our Tesla facilities are on the front lines of our mission. The Facility Coordinator provides operational support to enable our locations to run as efficiently and effectively as possible and provide an exceptional experience to our employees and to our customers. The Facilities Coordinator successfully executes critical repairs/maintenance and inspection projects that are critical to support Tesla’s rapid growth while also ensuring stores continue to meet our evolving standards. This individual partners with various Places teams, as well as other Tesla departments and external vendors.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for daily incoming facility requests for Tesla locations and distribute accordingly within the region of responsibility.
  • Coordinate and own prompt resolution of escalations related to all repair/maintenance requests and recurring services (i.e. paint, landscaping, snow removal, etc.) within the region of responsibility.
  • Coordinate communication between stakeholders (e.g. property owners, local leadership) on all facility initiatives and projects.
  • Coordinate operation and payment of utilities in locations.
  • Manage invoices (check work completed, approve invoices, take care of incorrectly submitted invoices, support vendor in invoice process, late payments).
  • Point of contact for vendors and internal customers (incoming R&M requests, answer questions, liaise between requester and vendor, etc.).
  • Manage and onboard (new/small) vendor operational execution in regards to contract (KPI, SLA).
  • Creation of purchase orders and management of invoices to support the implementation of services and assets at facilities.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, Project Management and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and proven ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule.
