Khaimah-basedKhaimah-basedKhaimah-basedwithDubai-basedDubai-basedWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Accountant at our Dubai based company currently having a contract in Ras Al Khaimah based Desert Safari company. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting and must currently be located in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Post and process data entries to ensure accurate recording of all business transactions.
- Handle petty cash and manage day-to-day financial transactions.
- Provide prompt support to customers by addressing their queries and requests for Statement of Account (SOA), including follow-up on overdue and upcoming payments.
- Regularly review payments received, confirm with customers, and allocate payments upon receiving relevant details.
- Assist in monthly closing activities by booking all receipts, credit notes, and petty cash vouchers before the deadlines.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports as required.
- Fulfill all general accounting responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with monthly VAT filing according to FTA UAE Law.
- Payroll processing.
- Reconcile accounts payables, accounts receivables, and bank accounts.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Accounting Software skills
- Strong English language skill
- Proven experience as a assistant accountant.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong numerical aptitude and proficiency in working with numbers and figures.
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong desire to exceed expectations and deliver high-quality work.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
