Project Manager (m, w, d)
for our location Emco Wheaton in Kirchhain/Hessen
With a unique blend of experience, engineering know-how and innovation, EMCO WHEATON develops market-leading loading systems for oil and gas, chemical, mineral oil, food and beverage, as well as customized refuelling systems for transportation, transfer, aviation and vehicle fleet refuelling.
Your tasks:
- Definition of project success criteria, design and implementation of the project plan
- Quality planning, assurance and control
- Development and monitoring of the project schedule
- Management of project costs and margin: financial resource planning, budgeting, cost control, order management
- Project progress monitoring and status reporting
- Close communication with other departments and quality as well as representation of the project vis-à-vis all parties involved
- Identify and assess project risks: Develop preventive and corrective measures that could lead to project delays or higher costs
- Final project acceptance by the customer
- Review and analysis of project progress, costs and margins and deriving lessons for future projects
Your qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical and plant engineering or a related discipline
- Broad technical expertise in plant construction and process engineering for the loading of gases and liquids, preferably several years of experience in project management in the energy or chemical sector preferred
- Experience in coordinating working groups involving external partners
- Dynamic personality with advanced analytical skills and commercial and entrepreneurial thinking
- Team-oriented action, excellent communication and moderation skills
- Certification as PMI, PMP or CAMP desirable
- Negotiable English and German spoken and written
