We are looking for a general assistant to Pilke Playschool Espoonlahti in Espoo. The daycare centre has places for 162 children. We are looking for a general assistant to join our team part-time to handle the cleaning of our playschool.
Pilke Playschool Espoonlahti is a multicultural daycare centre with Finnish and English-speaking groups. We also offer Finnish, English and Swedish enrichment. In language-rich early childhood education, children develop their language skills in a fun and playful way. We embrace diversity and celebrate a range of events throughout the year. We aim to introduce children to different cultures and help them grow into curious citizens of the world.
As a general assistant, your duties include collaboration with suppliers and daily cleaning. Your essential tasks also include placing orders and monitoring budgetary and quality-related matters. A general assistant plays a crucial role in providing children with a good day. If you are capable of assuming this responsibility and performing your duties wholeheartedly, this position is for you.
We expect a positive, active and development-oriented attitude towards work. At Pilke, everyone is given the opportunity to innovate. Earlier experience in daycare centre kitchen work is considered an asset but not necessary. You are expected to be capable of independent work, have good interaction skills and be able to encounter children genuinely. A general assistant plays an important role in the everyday lives of children and colleagues.
